Elena Vasquez is the Founder and Portfolio Manager of Patagonia Value Fund, a Latin America-focused investment firm based in Buenos Aires. Elena has spent over 18 years analyzing and investing in Latin American equities, with particular expertise in Brazilian and Mexican markets. She is known for her contrarian approach and willingness to invest in complex situations. Prior to founding Patagonia Value Fund, Elena was a partner at Itaú Asset Management. She holds a degree in Economics from the University of Buenos Aires and an MBA from Columbia Business School.
